Get ready to zoom into some speedy stories at Second Sunday Storytime: Things That Go!
June’s Storytime is sure to bring delight! We’ll be exploring trucks, cars, planes, boats and trains with a fun selection of books, beginning with Jashar Awan’s Towed by Toad. This wonderful book is a staff favorite, and was even a 2025 Geisel Award Honor Book. Storytime attendees will receive a special pin with art to help remember the book!
This Storytime includes song and play to keep readers engaged. Storytime is open to kids of all ages. Registration is encouraged, but not required.
This month’s featured reader, bookseller Melissa Barbour, has 10 years of Storytime experience making crowds of kids giggle and wiggle as they learn, honed by a decade as a Youth Services Librarian with the San Diego Public Library. She is tow-tally excited to share some of our favorite picture books San Diego families.
