Get ready to wade into some wonderful books for merfolk and sea-lovers alike!
This month’s Mer-MAY Storytime is sure to make a splash with your young readers. We’ll be exploring all things underwater with a fun selection of books, beginning with Jan Brett’s modern picture book classic The Mermaid. Storytime attendees will receive a special aquatic pin, and dress up is welcome!
This Storytime includes song and play to keep readers engaged. Storytime is open to kids of all ages. Registration is encouraged, but not required.
This month’s featured reader, bookseller Melissa Barbour, has 10 years of Storytime experience making crowds of kids giggle and wiggle as they learn, honed by a decade as a Youth Services Librarian with the San Diego Public Library. She is bubbling with excitement to dive into mer-tails and sea stories with San Diego families.
