Books and Brews San Diego brings the fun and froth to Library Shop Mission Hills!
Come out to this Open Mic Night on the theme of “Revival and Renewal,” as the old library becomes a brand-new neighborhood bookstore. With laughter and libation by @BooksandBrewsSD, the night kicks off with a short history of the mid-century modern building itself.
Calling all creatives to come take the mic for 3 minutes at a time to talk REVIVAL! Take a complimentary sip with us, and share your story of something old made new— any tale of re-birth, re-making, or re-envisioning will do.
Maître-DJ Jason Perkins will take sign-ups for speakers starting at 6:00 pm, with sips available and stories to commence at 6:30 pm. Those who take the mic have a chance to win hearts and minds as well as Library Shop SD swag.
