Picture Book Storytime with Marcie Colleen, 10:30am-11:15am
The theme of this Storytime is BIG FEELINGS! Marcie Colleen, author of Love, Triangle, will read out loud from that picture book — one of our staff favorites — and others on the topic of emotions and friendship. Participate in post-Storytime games for the chance to win some fun prizes.
Lego Art with Lego Sculptor Jonathan Lopes 11:30am-12:30pm
Join local Lego artist Jonathan for a creative activity with everyone’s favorite childhood toy. For this special event, we’re making our own creative characters with guidance from an experienced Lego Sculptor. Bricks provided by Library Shop SD to all participants, with prizes for creative contributions. Your creative character may even be featured on the shelves at the new bookstore!
Facepainting with Free Spirit the Elf: 11:15am-12:15pm
Throughout family day, get your spot in line to get your face painted by Free Spirit the Elf!
