This November, Second Sunday Storytime is about learning how to make new friends. Friends can enter our lives in different ways, like by walking through an open door, joining a drum line, or even ordering food at a cafe. And better yet, friends can be just as strange and wonderful as we are, so there’s plenty to learn from a new friend. Our featured book will be The Lists by Kyo Maclear and Júlia Sardà.
Storytime attendees will receive a special pin with art to help remember the book! We will also have a fun selection of other making-friends-themed picture books for young readers to enjoy, including Pokko and the Drum by Matthew Forsythe or The Cafe at the Edge of the Woods by Mikey Please.
This Storytime includes song and play to keep readers engaged. Storytime is open to kids of all ages. Registration is encouraged, but not required.
