We will be hosting a Streaming Party during the Sixth Annual Shorties event, complete with a costume contest! Join us in person at Library Shop Mission Hills or participate remotely. The watch party begins at 925 W Washington Street at 6:30pm, and the costume contest winner will be announced the weekend following the Shorties.
Whether you’re watching this year’s Gala online, at Central, or at Library Shop Mission Hills, we invite you to dress up for the awards ceremony. Think “Met Gala,” but Short! Wear your Gala best— with one truncated item, whether half a hat or the world’s smallest monocle— and tag @LibraryShopSD on IG for costume contest entry. Whether clever, concise, zany or elegant, we’re excited to see your creative finery.
There are no rules and the judging is made up! First prize gets a prize pack that includes the full matchbook series and a Library Shop SD gift card.
