Booked for the Holidays, Day 7

We’re intentionally slowing down for our first Sunday at Library Shop Mission Hills. Join us for a silent reading party on Sunday afternoon, followed by a quick introduction to our Book Club Program. 

Come by to relax to dulcet tunes and read whatever you want to read: this is a great chance to catch up with your TBR finally.

Book Club Mixer:

At the end of our reading session, we’ll have a quick, optional mixer. Whether you are currently in a book club or are interested in starting one, this is a great place to begin. You can share your reading preferences with us and (optionally) include contact information for other readers and Library Shop SD — we’ll help connect interested readers with other interested readers and existing book clubs.

Why Mix at Library Shop?

• Book clubs that register with the Library Shop can get up to 10% off their current book selection once a month in-store at Library Shop Mission Hills (if we can get the book through our usual channels). It’s easy! Come to a mixer, sign up, and keep us up to date on what the squad is reading next.
• If you’re not in a book club yet or you’re hoping to bring in new members, this is a great way to find other readers with your taste, who you might not otherwise meet.
• You can also schedule with us to host your book club at Library Shop Mission Hills! There’s no cost — if our community table is open, you can schedule it for an hour at a time.
