The library program’s graduation included inspiring stories of hope, perseverance, and achievement. These stories are why we do what we do for the library system and why your support is so important.
The San Diego Public Library’s Adult High School Diploma program offers adult students, primarily those from low-income communities, the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma online, bolstering future academic, career, and earning prospects. Participants can take classes and access schoolwork online — at their own pace — and receive free support and educational resources from the library. Since 2015, 135 adults have earned a high school diploma in our programs.
And thanks to our donors, graduates can earn their diplomas for free with no cost to the students or their families. Library Foundation SD is proud to partner with the library to fund and support this impactful program. And congrats, grads!
