Library Foundation SD is honored to receive a resolution from Assemblymember Tasha Boerner’s office recognizing our 20 years of service to the San Diego Public Library system. Margaret Doyle of California Assemblymember Tasha Boerner’s (77th District) staff presented Patrick Stewart with the California Legislative Assembly Resolution at the San Diego Central Library @ Joan Λ Irwin Jacobs Common.
The proclamation notes that “The Library Foundation SD was instrumental in helping create the Library Master Plan, which was designed to help provide long-term guidance and strategies for improvement of the City’s public libraries and the technologies and programs that they offer.” Additionally, “To date, the Foundation has raised more than $160 million in private funds to be used to support vital library programs and services.”
