Join the Library Shop SD at the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library for an exclusive storytime event with Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Viet Thanh Nguyen. At this free and open-to-the-public event, Viet will present his latest picture book for children, Simone. After storytime, Viet will sign copies of Simone and his other titles, which are available for purchase at the event or in advance from Library Shop SD. Proceeds support the San Diego Public Library System.

About the Author:
Viet Thanh Nguyen is a Vietnamese American author and professor. Viet’s debut novel, The Sympathizer, won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. He also coauthored with his son Chicken of the Sea, a picture book illustrated by Thi Bui and her son.
