Congratulations on your new book! This is a huge accomplishment for any writer. The Library Shop SD takes pride in supporting local authors and the San Diego literary community. Thank you for your interest in our store. In order to be considered for our inventory at The Library Shop SD, books must meet the following criteria:
- Must be available through major US book distributors. If your book is self-published, it must be available for us to order via Ingram.
- We do not order books directly from authors, and we cannot accept books on consignment.
- Must be available at a regular 40% off discount and fully returnable.
- We will not stock any books published by Amazon or its subsidiaries.
If your book meets the above criteria, please click the link below to complete the form. Our buyer will reach out to you if we feel your book would be a good fit for our store and of interest to our customers. Please note that we will not be able to respond to every submission.
Additionally, the San Diego Public Library system also stocks and champions local authors. If you would like to submit your book for consideration for the library system’s inventory, please email localauthor@sandiego.gov for more information.
