Hundreds of San Diego residents rallied last Saturday to begin gathering signatures in support of a grassroots movement led by the Library Foundation SD and San Diego Parks Foundation.
Our foundations have begun grassroots organizing to gather signatures to place the Libraries and Parks For All initiative on the 2024 ballot. The initiative will invest in San Diego’s deteriorating libraries and parks by fixing long-standing issues and historical inequities that have resulted in some communities having access to fewer educational and recreational opportunities.
