SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Library Foundation SD has launched a campaign to try to stop Mayor Todd Gloria’s plan to cut funding for the city’s libraries.
The local organization said in a news release on Tuesday that it launched a postcard campaign in response to the mayor’s proposed $6.3 million cuts to 37 libraries across San Diego.
Since April 25, the organization said that more than 1,300 people have signed postcards.
