Books are just part of the story for San Diego’s libraries. Today’s libraries are a central meeting hub where the community gathers to learn, connect, and collaborate in a safe, welcoming space that is free and open to everyone. The Washington Post editorial board recognized this and notes, “Communities that invest in libraries are well prepared for whatever the next chapter brings.”
