The golden age of public libraries dawns again

Books are just part of the story for San Diego’s libraries. Today’s libraries are a central meeting hub where the community gathers to learn, connect, and collaborate in a safe, welcoming space that is free and open to everyone. The Washington Post editorial board recognized this and notes, ​“Communities that invest in libraries are well prepared for whatever the next chapter brings.”
