Radhiya Bryant credits the Library’s Admit One: College Prep Academy with helping her get into UC Berkeley. Neither of Radhiya’s parents went to college. But with library support, she was able to pursue a computer science major at a major university. “It’s been a long journey to get to where I am,” said Bryant.
Admit One College Prep Academy is a great resource for high school students ready to embark on the college admission process. Approximately 80 percent of participants are first-generation college students and from low-income families.

Focusing on either SAT or ACT test preparation, Admit One teaches students the strategies, topics, and techniques that will best improve their scores. Taught by experienced instructors, these sessions include 16 total hours of instruction and two full-length practice tests with analyzed results.
